The skilled team of specialists at Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center is excited to honor our residents during this month’s “Residents’ Rights Month.” We keep the ideals and values of this important year-round event each day through mindfulness and respecting the individuality of our residents. Many of our residents are parents, grandparents or were once caregivers themselves. We know how much love they passed on to their families while taking on the roles of cook, chauffer, doctor, porter and teacher.

Now it’s our turn to return their love and compassion through quality care.

Each day, we do our best to show our residents how much they’re appreciated for all they’ve done in the service of others throughout their life. We do this through quality care, quality of life, quality services and quality choices.

Respecting our residents’ rights is a part of everything we do

Aside from providing unmatched medical care and service, preserving our residents’ self-esteem and independence is our top priority. When you or your loved one resides at Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center, your room is your room. We’ll always knock before entering, ask before we move belongings and help you prepare for the day or night (if needed) using the toiletries, clothing and styling products of your choosing.

We understand this is your home and will honor your privacy, safety and choices. We want all of our residents to feel right at home with us from the first moment they move in.

Advocating for residents from day one

Making the decision to move your parents or grandparents into a long-term care center is never easy. You want to feel good about your decision and ensure your family member will be treated with the utmost care and compassion. The clinical team at Silvercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center understands how confusing this process can be—that’s why you’ll have a dedicated admissions coordinator to help you every step of the way. We’ll help ease your family into this difficult transition by making it as seamless as possible.
